About Me
My name is Steven O' Riordan, MSc, BA (Hons).
I am a Humanistic and Integrative Counsellor, Psychotherapist and Mindfulness Teacher.

I am a cis-male who uses the pronouns he/him.

I hold a Masters in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from Turning Point Institute (TPI) accredited by University College Cork (UCC) and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Social Care from Munster Technological University (MTU).

Overview of My Background...
I originally pursued an education in French and Information Technology while volunteering for several years in community development projects.
But after realising that my life needed to be more fulfilling, I returned to higher education and pursued a degree in Social Care work.

In my career as a Social Care Worker, I developed a passion for the many ways we can experience and think about physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being. I have worked with a wide range of client concerns from youth justice, homelessness, youth and adult mental health, the LGBTQ+ community, child welfare and family support.

My personal journey is one of trauma healing, which includes meditation, holistic health and wellness, and ongoing retreats including psychotherapy, I continue to gain a deeper understanding of myself in body, feelings, and mind, which continues to unfold today.

I continue to be very inspired by the remarkable people I meet every day and I hope to be a part of your therapy journey, too.
